Meet Our Founder
Chinyere Oparah | Founder and Lead Executive Coach
Leadership is hard—and even more so when you’re pushing against systems not built for your brilliance. I created NeuroSpicy Leaders as a home for creative, one-of-a-kind leaders who are tired of hustling to fit into systems never designed for them.
​
I bring not only professional experience, but also lived experience with ADHD. Having navigated leadership, academia, motherhood and entrepreneurship with a neurospicy brain, I understand intimately what it means to mask and overcompensate. I’ve also felt the weight of leading with heart and vision in systems that weren’t designed to hold my unique brilliance. That’s why I believe so deeply in creating liberatory pathways for leadership.

Today, as a certified executive, career and trauma-informed coach, I bring this lived leadership experience together with neuroscience and equity frameworks to help others move from stuck to steady, from masking to confident leadership.
​
My 25-year leadership journey includes serving as a dean and vice president for academic affairs; leading and co-founding non-profit organizations; and publishing several books on racial and gender justice. ​Alongside my academic and nonprofit leadership, I’ve built the Center for Liberated Leadership, and now NeuroSpicy Leaders—proof that it’s possible to carve your own path, lead on your own terms, and build work that sustains both purpose and livelihood. That entrepreneurial success shapes how I coach other leaders who want to grow their vision while staying true to themselves.

What sets NSL apart is our commitment to affirming neurodivergent ways of leading—not as flaws to “fix,” but as sources of creativity, power, and impact. My role is simple: to be your ally, your coach, and your champion as you build strategies that work with your brain, not against it.
